Become an Acroyoga Austin Member

Membership is not a requirement to attend local acro events, but we welcome you to become a member to stay informed. We do require membership to apply for scholarships, vote, and run in board elections. Please complete this Acroyoga Austin membership Registration Form!

Apply for Scholarship Resources

Each month, Austin Acro Advocates dedicates part of its operating budget to funding scholarships. We assist those in financial need by empowering them to attend acro classes, workshops, and events of their choice. To apply, please complete this Scholarship Application Form.

Here are the requirements to apply for scholarships:

• Application does not guarantee receipt of an award.
• You must be a member of Acroyoga Austin in good standing.
• Scholarship funds are limited and awarded at the discretion of the Austin Acro Advocates Scholarship Committee.
• The AAA Scholarship Committee must have sufficient time to review and discuss each application. If you are applying within 7 days of an event, you may not hear back in time and must make the decision to attend with the understanding that a scholarship may not be available.
• Upon approval, funds are directly transferred to the facilitator pending communications between scholarship recipient, facilitator, and AAA Scholarship Committee.
• If the recipient fails to attend after funds have been transferred, resources are lost to AAA and the recipient. This can disqualify a member from future scholarship applications.
• AAA Scholarship Committee members are ineligible to apply.

Report an Incident / Issue

Austin Acro Advocates prioritizes safe and inclusive environments for all. If you have a problem in the Austin acro community you feel our board should know about, please use this form to anonymously submit a report.

If you run into significant or chronic issues, we’re here to help. Use this form to report sexual assault, harassment, abuse, safety violations, or anything else you’d like to comment on or request assistance with.

We reserve the right to proactively communicate if there is a credible threat of predatory behavior or abuse. We reserve the right to communicate the status of a permanent ban (with all specific details withheld) upon request. Please direct questions regarding the status of individuals with permanent bans to board@austinacroadvocates.org.
